AI Notes Summarizer

The problem

Studying from long lecture PDFs is slow. Students drown in 100-page files the night before an exam, and reading isn't revision.

What I built

• Drag-and-drop upload for any PDF, even 100+ pages, with text extracted by PyMuPDF
• Gemini writes a beginner-friendly summary, key points, exam-style questions graded by difficulty, quick-revision notes and memory tricks
• The same notes become an interactive quiz with a question navigator, live progress and a full answer review with explanations
• JWT accounts on a Flask and MySQL backend, with a React and Vite front end
• Built to feel like a product: clean sign-in flows, colour-coded note sections, copy-to-clipboard and animated transitions
